Hi, I’m Samantha, and alongside my husband and creative partner Allen, we’re a husband-and-wife photography and film team based in Southern California. I was born and raised in Orange County, while Allen was born in Japan and grew up around the world—an upbringing that shaped his deep love for travel and exploration. Together, that sense of adventure and curiosity has become the heartbeat of our work and our life.

We met while studying at Biola University, where we both earned our bachelor’s degrees in 2014, and have been married since the summer of 2015. In 2017, we officially launched our business—combining my lifelong passion for storytelling and artistry with Allen’s technical creativity and calm, grounded presence. Since then, we’ve had the joy of documenting weddings, elopements, and adventure sessions across California and beyond.

Our work has been featured in The Knot, Southern California Bride, Rocky Mountain Bride, Wandering Weddings, Green Wedding Shoes, Inspired By This, and Martha Stuart Weddings. My background in makeup artistry has also been published in Aisle Society, Wedding Chicks, and Inspired By This. , allowing me to approach photography with a unique eye for tone, texture, and natural beauty.

In addition to weddings, I specialize in commercial and lifestyle photography—partnering with brands, small businesses, and fellow creatives to create imagery that’s both artful and intentional. Whether capturing the emotion of a wedding day or the essence of a brand, my goal is the same: to craft honest, elevated visuals that tell a story worth remembering.

When we’re not behind the camera, you’ll find us exploring new places, hiking, painting, or chasing after our two boys. We feel endlessly grateful for every opportunity to do what we love and to connect with others through our work.
